The Wildcat Choir had their winter performance on December 14 and did a fabulous job! It was a joyous time of singing, recorder and drum playing, ribbons, and holiday accessories. Thank you to all our choir families for your support!

Looking at choir once we return from winter break, we will be venturing into Choralpalooza season. Choralpalooza is a district wide choral event for students in 5th-12th grade held at Crescent Valley on Saturday, February 10. We will be hosting a guest clinician to work with all choirs in rehearsal that afternoon before our concert. Fourth graders are encouraged to attend the concert and get a preview of what they can participate in as fifth graders! Rehearsals will continue to be on Thursdays from 2:45-3:45 but for 5th grade students only.

Students will be learning 4 new pieces. Two of these will be with choirs from middle and high schools which is super exciting! Several students have already expressed excitement about the opportunity to share a stage and sing with their siblings. :) The choir tab under "Ensembles" has been updated with recordings, sheet music, and video performances. Students are encouraged to listen to the recordings as much as possible to help familiarize themselves. This will help our rehearsals be effective and efficient!
